Department of Biological Sciences

The Department of Biological Sciences is committed to offering competitive market driven courses in sciences to ensure that our students are employable and relevant both locally and internationally.  It is our desire to make a great contribution in training skilled manpower required towards the realization of the national vision 2030.

The Department offers undergraduate programmes in Microbiology, Biochemistry and Bachelor of Science in Biology. In addition the Department offer a Diploma Programme in Public Health.

Learning Programes in the Department is supported by a modern laboratory.  The Department also offers service courses to the School of Education and School of Agriculture.
