About the Department

The Department of Economics and Humanities in the School  of Arts and Social Sciences was established in 2019. The establishment of the department was the concretization of a long process of conceptualization, planning and implementation of the general objectives of Rongo University. Since its establishment, the department has embarked on preparation of candidates for the award of Arts and Science related degrees.

These degree programmes are of high quality, market driven and very innovative.  The Department believes in the power of education to transform and offer opportunity and access to all students within the university at all levels of progress and that potential students who will join our programmes are assured of a resourceful team of staff that has a common focus of academic success and excellence.
