On October 29, 2024, Rongo University proudly hosted a transformative two-day consultancy workshop designed to equip our researchers, faculty, and staff with the essential skills to excel in consultancy and research. Organized by Dr. Evans Ouma, Director of Research and Extension, the event offered participants the tools to elevate their professional expertise and provide top-tier consultancy services that meet industry needs and standards.
Held in the vibrant atmosphere of the University’s Multipurpose Hall, the workshop began with an inspiring address by Deputy Vice-Chancellor Prof. Daniel Tarus, who emphasized the importance of building consultancy skills to broaden the University’s reach and impact. “This workshop represents a new level in consultancy training,” he stated, urging attendees to dive in fully. “The skills gained here will empower us to set a higher standard in service delivery,” he added.
