The Rongo University President’s Award Club recently joined fellow universities on an excursion to Kerio Valley, promoting experiential learning, resilience, and personal growth among student participants.

Rongo University was represented by Kimberly Isura, Boniface Oyunge, Joy Shikuku, and Brian Agembo, mentored by Dr. Millicent Otieno and Dr. John Ambuchi, who provided guidance throughout the journey.

The initiative reinforced the goals of the President’s Award, Kenya (PA-K), focusing on development through service, discipline, and responsibility. Activities like this complement academics and prepare students to be well-rounded contributors.
