Prof. Nyamori Joseph

Prof. AguyoJoseph Nyamori Aguyoh is a Professor of Sustainable Horticulture and Biostatistics in the Department of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences at Rongo University, Kenya. He holds an Msc in Horticulture from Iowa State University (USA) and Phd from University of Illinois (USA). Prof Aguyoh has over 25 years of University research and teaching experience. He has supervised and graduated over 20 Postdoctorate students with various research interests. He has taught courses with themes on Proposal development and Statistical Methods among others. He has published extensively in international peer reviewed journals and presented research findings in local, regional and international meetings. He has been involved in curriculum developments, self assessment and peer review of University programs. Prof Aguyoh is currently the Director of Quality assurance and a member of Rongo University Senate and Graduate Committee. He is also the chief research scientist in the African Knowledge Transfer Partnership (AKTP).
