RESPONSIBILITIES AT RONGO UNIVERSITY
- Chair of all sub-senate academic committees 2022 to Date ,
- Chaired all school committees for the school of social arts and sciences,2012-2022
- Chaired the Development and completion of BA General Curriculum: Rongo University 2016.
- Chaired the Development and completion of County Governance and Administration curriculum : Rongo University 2015
- Vetting for promotion of academic staff.
- Ad hoc Chairman Disciplinary Committee 2014 to date
Involved in vetting for promotion of academic staffs to various ranks like; associate Professors, senior lecturers, lecturers, tutorial fellows and graduate assistants both at Moi and Rongo universities.
Honour and Awards
- We won grants with Dr. Wilson Otengah from Rongo University to conduct two surveys on drug abuse and sugarcane production and its impact on socioeconomic development of people in Kamagambo division 2014.
- Wrote a joint supplementary grant proposal for DRS with Prof. Adam Chepkwony and won $10000 which culminated in a publication of a book titled Dialogue in Religion and Science: An African Perspective, 2011 and 2017.
Research Funding.
- I was among the five members from five universities who worked on a science Religion proposal that and won 24 million from NRF.
- I still worked on another science proposal that won 85 million from Templeton Charity Foundation USA 2016-2018 big project.
