Rongo University Advances Digital Rights and Online Freedom at Naivasha Workshop
To effectively navigate Kenya’s evolving digital landscape while promoting peace, safeguarding human rights, and fostering inclusive governance of digital platforms, Rongo University last week (7th-9th, May 2025) participated in a three-day workshop held in Naivasha that equipped the staff with immense knowledge on digital rights.
The seminar, which was organised by Internews, Kenya Information and Communication Technology Action Network (KICTANet), and United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), stressed the need for critical knowledge and tools on the protection of online freedom of digital platforms in Kenya.
