On Monday, 12th April 2022, the Vice-Chancellor Prof. Samuel Gudu hosted Youth Enterprise Development Fund officers who paid him a courtesy call. During the visit, the institutions explored opportunities for collaboration.

The Youth Development Fund, led by Mr. Daniel Mathenge stated that the Fund provides credit facilities to youths, market linkage to youths involved in Agribusiness, and enterprise development through mentorship coaching that students can benefit from.

The Vice-Chancellor observed that collaborating with the Fund would equip the students with necessary skills that would enable them to be job creators rather than job seekers.

To begin, the two parties agreed to run two projects – aquaculture and poultry farming – that the Fund would support. These projects have a ready market within the institution and the community.
