Dr-Carren-Nyandimba

Dr. Carren Nyandiba is a Senior Lecturer of Kiswahili in the Department of Languages, Linguistics and Literature at Rongo University, Kenya. She is a holder of   MA Kiswahili from Egerton Universirty and a Doctor of Philosophy in Kiswahili from Moi University, Kenya. She has over ten years of teaching experience at the university.  Besides teaching undergraduate, MA and Phd Kiswahili courses, she is the current coordinator of post graduate studies in the department of Languages, Linguistics and Literature. Dr Nyandiba has supervised several MA students a few PhD students. She has also done extensive research and has publications in journals and book chapters. Her research interest is in the Sociolinguistics, Applied Linguistics and African Linguistics. She represents the Senate in the Board.
