REGISTRAR ADMINISTRATION AND PLANNING
1. Welcome message
The Registrar Administration and Planning assists Deputy Vice-Chancellor Administration, Finance and Planning in the overall supervision and management of all administrative and operational functions of the division. The Office of the Registrar is a key player in actualizing the vision of the University which is to be a world-class institution for academic excellence, research and community outreach. The Office is made up of divisions that provide service to the day-to-day administration of the institution. The Office is committed to serving the needs of all internal and external constituents by ensuring development and implementation of the University policies and guidelines in line with the University’s Strategic Plan. The office also provides administrative and logistical support for the institution’s programs by conveying reliable information on University’s approved administrative policies and regulations.
2. Objectives:
Among many other objectives, the division:
- Implements University administrative policies and procedures and support institution’s goals.
- Liaises with the Heads of Departments to identify training needs among staff.
- Formulates and evaluate human resource programs, policies and procedures.
- Coordinates development of the University’s strategic plan and short and long-term and policies.
