The Vice-Chancellor is the Chief Executive Officer of the University, and is appointed by the Cabinet Secretary , Ministry of Education, Science and Technology in consultation with the University Council.

The Vice-Chancellor is answerable to the Rongo University Council for the overall management of the University, and is the Chair of the University Management Board and the Senate. view  profile

The Mandate

This is the office of the Chief Executive Officer of the University and it oversees all the administrative and academic matters, Public Relations Office, Internal Audit, Directorate of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Anti-Corruption and Guidance and Security and Safety functions

Vice Chancellor’s message on the award of Charter 7th October 2016 

I wish to congratulate and thank staff, students and all stakeholders of Rongo University for their effort that culminated into the Award of Charter and Accreditation as a full-fledged University. May we continue to put more effort for prosperity, success and rapid growth as we strive to become a world class technology driven university in learning and practice.
