Prof. Samuel Gudu
Vice Chancellor, Rongo University
Prof. Samuel Gudu is the Chief Executive Officer of Rongo University. He is appointed by the Cabinet Secretary, Ministry of Education, Science and Technology in consultation with the University Council. As Vice Chancellor, Prof. Gudu is answerable to the Rongo University Council for the overall management of the University and is the Chair of the University Management Board and the Senate.
The mandate of the Vice Chancellor includes overseeing all the administrative and academic matters of the University. His office also supervises functions such as the Public Relations Office, Internal Audit, Directorate of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Anti-Corruption and Ethics Compliance, as well as Security and Safety.
