Senate of Rongo University
The Senate plays a pivotal role in overseeing various aspects of academic life within the university. It holds authority over admissions, research, instruction, examinations, and the conferral of academic credentials such as degrees, diplomas, and certificates. Chaired by the Vice-Chancellor, the Senate comprises key stakeholders, including Deputy Vice-Chancellors, Deans, Directors, Heads of Academic and Administrative Departments, representatives from Schools, Unions, and Students Associations.
