The department of Transport is responsible for efficient transport operations and effective maintenance of Rongo University motor vehicles.

- Management of transport operations
- Coordination of Motor vehicle repairs
- Development and Implementation of the University transport policies
- Assessment of University transport needs and matching them with the available resources
- Development of technical specifications of the departmental procurement needs
- Allocation of duty to staff in the department
